Good Heat Transfer Glove/Mitten Liner
The Seirus Heatwave Silver Liner was tested at -10°C in March at Ski Saint Bruno, Quebec, Canada.
The product has good heat transfer feature in combination with leather Gore-Tex mitten.
The product serves more as liner than lightweight glove since it has rapid heat loss when using alone.
The heat transfer feature functions less well when wearing the liner inside-out.

Is there any performance difference between the silver or black version?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Based on my retail store physical inspection of the products and user experience of the silver version, the black version is not exactly the "inside-out" of the silver version. The material used might be the same; however, the knitting structure and density of the material is not the same. The black version has finely knitted denser outer layer and could be used as lightweight glove; while the silver version has loose fleece like inner layer and functions more as liner than lightweight glove. The silver version has rapid heat loss when using alone as lightweight glove at subzero temperature. It needs a good water-resistant/windproof outer protective layer such as leather and Gore-Tex to trap heat. For some reason (moisture accumulation?), the heat transfer feature functions less well when the thermal reflective material is placed directly on skin, such as wearing the silver version inside-out.
Hope the information above could help with your purchasing decision.

What is the material? I would like to use them as a light weight glove and apply Nanotips solutions. Would you categorize the material as fabric/fleece or leather/rubber?
Janet H on Jan 28, 2018

The material is more fabric/fleece (the brushed heatwave side on the outer feels like a very tight fleece).

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

how do you wash these gloves?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2017

Care for these gloves is best done through hand-washing with a mild detergent. Followed by air-drying.

Hope this helps!

Do these liners have the Heatwave material throughout the glove (fingers and thumbs?).
A shopper on Dec 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi there,

Yes these will have heatwave material throughout the entire glove.
